My comment makes sense to sensible people, that's why YOU don't get it. The owners of the dog did something stupid that resulted in tragedy. They didn't INTENTIONALLY kill the dog, you putz. It WAS an accident. NOTHING you've said here, or are going to say here, will lead to the rescue of any animals. YOU talk as if you're the Christ of Critters, the Moses of Mammals. You're not and everybody but you knows you're not. You foolishly compared drunk driving - a crime that could wipe out an entire family of people - to leaving one dog in a car on an extremely hot day. If you had to choose between saving a busload of children and a dog you'd flip a coin. I wouldn't be surprised if your dog and your child ate out of the same bowl. The person who said that it was "only a dog" wasn't endorsing the idea of leaving a dog in a hot car. The person who said that it was " an oversight " is quite conscious of the fact that the dog died. Given the choice of "oversights" they'd much prefer missing an item in their budgeting over causing the death of their beloved pet. The people here haven't indicated that they have locked a dog in a car or would lock a dog in a car. No animals were saved or are going to be saved because of anything that you've been saying here, motor mouth. You don't know what any of them have done for animals in the past or what they do now or what they will do for animals in the future. You blather on as if you're the patron saint of animals.
