Power has been restored to most of the customers in the area of Weston and highway 401 who were in the dark for much of the morning.
A driver lost control near Weston and Sheppard Sunday morning, crashing his SUV into a hydro pole. That caused a widespread power outage that stretched from Finch to Lawrence, and from the Humber River to highway 400.
About 820 customers were affected.
Toronto Hydro says that a few customers will still be out of power until about 5 p.m. while the hydro pole is replaced.
