The NDP is mocking the Tories for trying to bring down the government with a non-binding confidence motion.
NDP leader Andrea Horwath says PC leader Tim Hudak can do "backflips" by presenting these "gimmicks" but it doesn't change the situation.
Neither opposition party can try and bring down the government since all three parties would have to agree to a vote on the matter. The Liberals are not expected to back a motion that could bring down the minority government.
But PC house leader Jim Wilson says they're doing this in an effort to get residents what they want, which he says is to "throw the bums out." He's referencing the Liberal government.
Premier Kathleen Wynne says the Liberals still plan to make a minority government work.
The Tories will table the motion next Wednesday.
