Dense fog and possible freezing drizzle on the way

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement

It could be like driving through pea soup early Monday.

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Toronto, the GTA as well as other areas of southwestern Ontario.

Areas of dense fog will form over southern Ontario Sunday evening. Many areas could see reduced visibility as the fog becomes more extensive. In some cases, you may not be able to see 100 metres ahead through Monday morning, making travel conditions hazardous.
In addition, the light rain and drizzle we received on Sunday may become slippery as temperatures fall below the freezing mark in the evening. There is a risk of freezing drizzle which may be patchy, however ice on surfaces could accumulate and create hazardous conditions. There is a risk of freezing drizzle for all regions on Monday morning and across eastern Ontario through Monday evening.
NEWSTALK 1010 will continue to monitor the latest forecasts and warnings from Environment Canada, and keep you up to date with any changes.
