Pedestrian struck in Richmond Hill

It happened at Major Mackenzie and Newkirk Rd.

York Regional police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a car in Richmond Hill, early Tuesday.

It happened around 11 p.m. at Major Mackenzie and Newkirk Road, just east of Yonge St.

The man was rushed to hospital in serious condition. The driver remained at the scene.
