Snow squall warnings for parts of cottage country

Up to 4 cm of snow/hour

Parts of cottage country are being pounded by winter weather.

Places like Huntsville, Bracebridge and Gravenhurst are under snow squall warnings.

Forecasters at Environment Canada say snow could pile up as fast as 4 cm/hour. They say drivers should expect visibility to drop off dramatically, sometimes with no warning at all.

There could be as much as 20 cm of snow on the ground by morning.

The following areas are under snow squall warnings:

-Baysville
-Bracebridge
-Gravenhurst
-Huntsville
-Killbear Park
-Parry Sound
-Port Carling
-Port Severn
-Rosseau
