Police searching for two missing Whitby teens

Haven't been seen since 7am Friday

Police and family members are concerned for the safety of two Whitby teens missing since Friday.

15-year-olds Thomas Nancekivell and Emily Leonard were last seen around 7 am Friday.

They're believed to be together, and neither of them has a history of running away.

In fact Emily's mother tweets that this behaviour is "not normal" for her daughter, a girl she describes as a great kid and a straight-A student.

Police say the teens don't have access to cash and aren't carrying any ID.

Thomas Nancekivell is white, 5'2 with a medium build and shaggy brown hair. He was last seen wearing a blue and green winter coat, jeans and brown shoes.

Emily Leonard is white, 5’2 with a slim build, brown hair and glasses. She was last seen wearing a yellow toque, puffy winter coat and white running shoes.

Anyone with information about Thomas and Emily's whereabouts is asked to call Durham Regional Police at 1-888-579-1520 or to contact Crime Stoppers.

hope they are safe and maybe just succumbed to overzealous teen spirit and are on a temporary tour of the country or something like that.
