The Premier says she's concerned about the culture at OPG, the day after the Auditor General's annual report revealing sky high salaries, questionable expenses, and more than generous pensions was tabled.
Kathleen Wynne repeated over and over again that the Liberal government is now trying to cap public sector executive salaries and review pensions at agencies like the OPG. .
She says she can't comment on why changes haven't been made sooner since she wasn't in control. In question period she pointed to previous Progressive Conservative and NDP governments not taking action.
This comes as the Energy Minister Bob Chiarelli agreed it's time to apologize to Ontarians, only saying he's sorry for the information in the report.
Chiarelli maintains there has been a transformation happening at OPG over the last few years. He wouldn't say if more people need to be let go from OPG.
