Car hits Hydrant at King and Jarvis

King and Jarvis is flooded after car hits fire hydrant!

PHOTO: CP24

Ever watched cartoons, and seen a car, floating in the air, on the top of a gusher of water from a broken fire hydrant?

Not funny for a Toronto man  heading to the airport, to catch a flight to Boston.

Because of the slimey road conditions from the snowfall, to avoid hitting the car ahead of him at the light, he steered right, and right into a fire hydrant.

The engine compartment of his FORD compact, is now hung up  on the broken hydrant, on the north-west corner of  Jarvis and King.

The entire intersection is now flooded.

More to come.

Now that's a carwash with a full underspray! You have to love drivers who tailgate so closely that avoiding an accident leads to this.

@Keith Exactly. He should have to pay for the damages for his stupidity.
