You may want to give yourself a little more time to get to work Tuesday morning.
An Alberta clipper is moving through and will mean snowfall in the GTA before sunrise on Tuesday. Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Toronto and the GTA.
The forecast indicates the possibility of 10 centimetres of snow between from overnight through the morning hours.
For areas of the GTA that are inland, it'll be closer to 2 centimetres overnight, and another 2 cm throughout the morning.
The snow will come to an end by noon, as the clipper sails away to the east.
Meanwhile, the city of Toronto has also issued an extreme cold-weather alert, which is not related to the special weather statement.
