Update: Police have identified the victim of Thursday's suspected murder as 64-year-old To Nu Hua, aka "Sandy".

Toronto Police are investigating after the body of a woman in her 60's was found in a Scarborough apartment late Thursday night.

Police are not saying much other than an "incident" had occured in the high-rise at 80 Alton Towers Circle, near McCowan Road and Steeles Avenue.

Paramedics got to the scene just after 11:30pm and the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators say she had "obvious signs of trauma" and will not release her identity until her relatives have been notified.

No arrests have been made and there is no word on possible suspects.
