Police make arrest in Boxing Day murder case

61-year-old Patrick Wai Leung Lee has been charged with second degree murder in the death of To Nu "Sandy" Hua

Police have made an arrest in the murder of a 64-year-old woman on Boxing Day.

Officers were called to a building on Alton Towers Circle, near McCowan Rd and Steeles Ave E, at about 11:30 p.m. that day.

They found the body of 64-year-old To Nu "Sandy" Hua with obvious signs of trauma.

A post-mortem has determined that she died from sharp force injuries.

Earlier today, 61-year-old Patrick Wai Leung Lee was arrested and charged with second-degree murder.

He is to appear in court on Tuesday.
