Man dead following crash in Brampton

Weather may be factor in crash

One male is dead following a crash in Brampton, a representative with Peel Regional Paramedic Services has confirmed.

Peel police say the vehicle slammed into a pole on Steeles Avenue near Finch Avenue.

It happened around 6 pm Sunday.

The age of the male driver, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was not immediately available. A male passenger suffered minor injuries in the crash.

Police say weather may have been a factor in the crash.
