UPDATE: Police Double Homicide in Richmond Hill
Two people are dead, another rushed to hospital

York Regional police are investigating a double homicide in Richmond Hill, Wednesday morning.

The incident took place at the Centre Green Co-op housing complex on Centre Street.   It's near Yonge Street and Major Mackenzie Drive East.

It was shortly after midnight, and police believe the gunfire rang out in the parking lot.

One man and one woman were killed and one other man was rushed to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.

Police have not released any suspect information but say they are looking for at least two people. 

Investigators say they do not believe this was a random incident.
