Toronto has it's first murder case of 2014.

Police have charged a 20 year old man and a 19 year old man from Toronto, both with Second Degree Murder.

The incident happened back on January 11th, when cops were called for a man who had fallen in front of an apartment on Birchmount Road, in the Ellesmere and Kennedy area.

But as police soon found out, 24 year old Osman Awad was assaulted and later died in hospital.

An autopsy has revealed that Awad died of blunt force trauma to the head.

Two brothers, Joey and Justin Dionne are now facing murder charges.

Police didn't reveal a possible motive for the attack.
