Police are investigating a robbery at Fairview Mall Monday night.

It was around 10:30 when the call came in.

The suspects and two truck guards exchanged gunfire, but neither guard was injured. The suspects managed to take off in another vehicle with an unknown amount of money.

A get-away car was located on Woodington Avenue, in the Danforth and Coxwell Avenue area. It's a silver, Dodge Caravan.

Police have very limited suspect descriptions of two men wearing hooded sweatshirts.

Whenever I see an armoured truck at the mall or parked by a bank, I never go near it.
I look all around for any possible ambushers.
I recommend you do the same, as you don't want to be caught in the cross fire, or become a hostage. It happens.

I wonder how much is in a bag of money. The thieves probably got at least one bag each.
