Abdullahi Mohamoud is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant

There's word that a man wanted in a fatal gas-and-dash case in Mississauga, is talking to his lawyers about surrendering Wednesday morning.

It was May 19th, 2011 when a 62-year old gas station attendant at a Petro Canada station at Southdown Road and Truscott Drive was run over by a gas-and-dash driver he tried to stop.

Peel Police have been hunting for the driver ever since, but it wasn't until November of 2012 that they identified him as 24-year old Abdullahi Mohamoud.  He is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

Mohamoud is also wanted on charges of gang rape in Edmonton and a knife-point robbery here in Toronto.
