Special Weather Statement issued for Toronto and region
Snow could fall overnight Friday and into the weekend...

Environment Canada is keeping an eye on some possibly tricky weather, that could affect your weekend plans.

A low pressure system is moving through southern Ontario on Saturday, possibly bringing 5cms, or up to 10cms in some areas.

However, along with the snow, strong winds, gusting to 80 km/h are expected, which could bring white out conditions.

The blowing snow is expected to be the worst along the eastern regions of Lake Huroon and Georgian Bay, with trhe north shores of Lakes Erie and Ontario also affected.
