Ontario won't be raising its minimum wage just yet.

Newstalk 1010 has learned that the Minimum Wage panel report set to be released on Monday will focus on the process on how to set min. wage going forward. They will not be recommending a new number.

It is now $10.25/hr.

Healthcare providers have called on the province to raise the minimum wage to $14/hr but Premier Kathleen Wynne says that wouldn't happen just yet.

Labour Minister Yasir Naqvi has said that the purpose of the minimum wage panel was to find a fair way to move forward so that increasing minimum wage wouldn't be a political move.
