Another OPP cruiser struck by passing truck

The officer's injuries are considered minor

Another OPP cruiser has been hit by a passing vehicle, while the officer was stopped at the side of a highway.

At about 7:15 p.m., a tractor trailer crashed into a cruiser on Hwy 410 in the southbound lanes near Bovaird Dr.

Police say the officer was trapped in the vehicle because it was pushed against the guardrail and he couldn't get the doors open.

His injuries are considered minor.

Earlier in the day, a female officer was injured after her cruiser was hit by a tractor trailer west of Orangeville. Her injuries were also non-life threatening.

In a third incident, there were no injuries when a cruiser was also struck.

Hm... It's getting so you can't even collect revenue anymore without taking your life in your hands.
