Rare snowstorm paralyzes parts of the not-so-sunny south

      A rare winter storm hammered parts of Georgia with as much as 7cms of snow overnight, bringing parts to a standstill

      In Atlanta, roads were nearly impassable, with some drivers stranded on highways for as much as 18 hours.

      No salters or sanders were available, and the little bit of snow melted, then re-froze, turning some routes into skating rinks.

      Georgia's National Guard has dispatched vehicles to bring food and water to those stranded.

        I'm not sure if I should find this funny, or be sympathetic. But at this point, I wish we had their weather. I would kill for -3 degrees right now.
