Toronto United Way reaches record-breaking donation totals

The branch raised $117-million in 2013

A donation record has been broken after the United Way Toronto raised $117-million during it's 2013 campaign.

About $78-million of that came from personal donations and RBC donated about $11-million.

In 2012, the branch made $116-million in donations.

The money will be invested in about 200 local organizations like women's shelters and employment agencies.
