Toronto Police are hoping witnesses will provide more information in a stabbing attack on a woman in Midtown Toronto.

Cops say two men say in their car, waiting for the woman to emerge from her home around 7 o'clock on Thursday morning.

She was stabbed several times, before the men jumped back into their car and drove off.

Officers say that could be a silver or white late model vehicle, and was last spotted driving westbound on Broadway Avenue.

Police believe there could be another suspect who was in the vehicle during the alleged attack.

"Officers say that could be a silver or white late model vehicle, and was last spotted driving westbound on Broadview Avenue." Care to explain how they were driving westbound on a north-south street?

@Mg Please read the article more carefully MG. Broadway Ave, not Broadview and it does run east/west.

@Gkops It said "Broadview" to begin with. Apparently 1010's policy is to make corrections without acknowledging the original error.

Typo I think - should read "Broadway" is my guess.

Other new agencies reporting that this stabbing occurred in Leaside on Glenvale Blvd. The Broadway Ave exit does run east/west. Police are asking for witnesses in that quiet residential area in Midtown Toronto.
