Mayor allegedly spotted in West End bar

Councillor takes to Twitter about sighting then says it wasn't her who posted about it

A city councillor has taken to Twitter, alleging the mayor was seen drinking then driving after leaving a bar in the West End of Toronto.

Sarah Doucette later said she was trying to retweet something on Twitter but didn't do it properly.

While there was talk of a Rob Ford sighting in the Junction on Twitter, a bartender at the bar 3030 on Dundas St West by Keele posted in an online forum saying he can confirm that the mayor was there.

He writes, the mayor came in at around midnight with two younger people, a man and woman. Ford was allegedly gracious towards all customers, allowing them to sit with him and take pictures.

He underlines he didn't see the mayor drink anything. He says the mayor's face was red but offers that could be because of the cold. However, the bartender admits he was upset to hear the mayor called in sick to work the following day.
