Former after-school program leader facing child porn charges

A 25-year-old Toronto man is facing 6 charges

An investigation by Toronto Police's Sex Crimes' child exploitation section has resulted in the arrest of a 25 year old Toronto man.

On Friday, Feb. 7, A search warrant was executed at a home in Highway 401 and Don Mills Road. A second search warrant was executed at a business in the Mount Pleasant and Davisville Ave. area.

Police allege that a man who is affiliated with Moorelands Community Services as the Database and Website Administrator, posted child-abuse images on a number of social networking websites.

Police say he also worked as an after-school program leader at Thorncliffe Park Public School and Gateway Public School from September 2008 to June 2013.

The man also worked as a camp director at several summer camps in the GTA.

25-year-old Chun Him ("Louis") Wong of Toronto is facing two counts of possessing child pornography, two counts of accessing child pornography and two counts of making child pornography available.

He will appear in court on Wed. Feb. 12 at 10 a.m.
