According to Mexican officials, Julio Cesar Castillo was arrested on Wednesday, and police in the country are reportedly searching for the suspect's brother.

It was on Sunday, that 72 year old Nina Discombe and 84 year old Edward Kular were found dead in a home south of Guadalahara.

Kular is from Toronto and has been spending his winters in Mexico for the last 35 years.

Police say robbery was the motive with Castillo and his brother working on a home next door, and allegedly had a plan to steal the couple's TV.
