What is fuzzy, has four legs and is INCREDIBLY cute?

But there is one problem; the little guy doesn't have a name yet.

Here's your chance to help Toronto Zoo staff help name the bear who was born on November 9th.

The top six names have been narrowed down by officials, but they are leaving the rest up to you. All you have to do is head to, to vote.

Once the votes have been tallied, the cub's official new name will be announced early March. The polar bear cub, who can't wait to meet you, is now on exhibit in the Zoo's award-winning 10 acre Tundra Trek.

It was back on November 9th, Aurora, one of the Zoo's two 12-year-old female polar bears, gave birth to three cubs. Despite Aurora showing perfect maternal instincts, including nursing the cubs shortly after their birth, staff were saddened to discover that two of the three cubs did not survive the first 48 hours.

For the past three months, Zoo staff has focused on caring for the cub. Veterinary and Wildlife Care Teams monitored his health closely by observing temperature, taking blood samples and weighing him regularly to ensure he was receiving all of the necessary requirements to survive and grow strong.

The Zoo’s Team worked closely developing an artificial polar bear milk formula that he was fed with an infant bottle, which he accepted very readily. The cub has achieved, right from the start, a strong and consistent growth weight, and now weighs approximately 10kg. There are few documented cases of humans rearing a polar bear cub from such an early age.

This is the second polar bear cub the Toronto Zoo has successfully raised, the Zoo’s first cub, Hudson, was born on October 11, 2011 and now resides at the Assiniboine Park Zoo.
