He's being called extremely violent and shouldn't be approached.

That being said, York Regional Police are looking for 38 year old John Jansen, who is wanted for first degree murder in the stabbing of two people in Newmarket on Wednesday night.

A 65 year old man was killed, while a second person is clinging to live in hospital.

Police say it happened at a home on Davis Drive and Huron Heights.

Jansen is from Bradford.

Constable Laura Nicolle says they don't know where Jansen, is but are asking him to turn himself in.

When it comes to the other two suspects who were allegedly seen leaving the scene in a dark SUV, police don't have much when it comes to a description.

Both are believed to be men, but that's all police are aware of.
