Toronto Police bust four men in North York break-and-enters

Police say jewellery and luxury items were stolen

 After investigating for more than two months,Toronto Police have made some arrests in connection to a a slew of break-and-enters in North York.

The crimes prompted police to start Project "Red Cross." Officers from 32 Division executed five search warrants in Toronto and York Region.

Police say they seized two vehicles, jewellery, electronics and about $18,000 cash.

Giga Odosashvili, 26, of Vaughan has been charged with two counts of break-and-enter.

George Sidamonidze, 38, of Toronto is facing three counts of break-and-enter and police have charged 31-year-old Lasha Chodzeli, of Vaughan with attempt to break-and-enter and failure to comply with recognizance.Sokrat Janelidze

Also arrested and charged Thursday was Alex Dolidze, 31, of Vaughan. He's charged with possession of property obtained by crime and possession of proceeds of crime.

Police have also issued an arrest warrant for the Sokrat Janelidze, 36, of Toronto (pictured here).

The investigation is ongoing.
