Ten men face 95 charges

York Regional police have arrested 10 men in a major human trafficking and prostitution ring. The two-month long investigation began in December with project "Home for Christmas".

Investigators say 31 girls have been identified in the investigation and 29% of the girls are under the age of 18.

The men charged hail from Toronto, Brampton, Mississauga, London, Ottawa and Calgary. More than 95 charges have been laid including human trafficking, forcible confinement, sexual assault and living on the avails of prostitution.

Investigators say the average the girls started working as prostitutes was 14.
