Dozens without homes after Hamilton apartment fire

Fire officials believe at least 18 units were gutted

About 36 people have been forced out of their homes after a fire engulfed a large part of an apartment building in Hamilton, Thursday night.

The building is located on Bold Street, near Main St. and James St. It began around 8:15.

A fire official believes at least 18 units have been gutted and they don't know what caused the blaze at this point.
