Waterfront Toronto says tear it down.

The Board has come out in favour of removing the Gardiner Expressway east of Jarvis.

It says that plan, "best supports and enhances the revitalization of the waterfront."

And the organization contends taking down the elevated highway would only cause "significant" delays on about 17-thousand trips per day compared to 1.6 million trips made daily in Toronto.
