Report: Toronto Police have Lisi recordings

Toronto Star reporting police have access to audio and video recordings from Lisi's cell

Toronto Police have gained access to video and audio recordings from Sandro Lisi's cellphone, according to a report in the Toronto Star.

Lisi is a friend and occasional driver of Mayor Rob Ford.

He was charged with extortion last year, after allegations that he tried to retrieve a crack-cocaine video featuring the mayor.

According to the paper, the recordings come from an iPhone officers seized from Lisi last fall.

It's not clear what the recordings might contain but sources tell the Star that the Lisi and Ford camps are worried about what's on them.

Police got the data from the Apple head office in California through a search warrant.
