Toronto Police Chief Bill Blair being investigated
Complaints against the Chief submitted by Councillor Doug Ford...

Toronto's Chief of Police is now under investigation by the Office of the Independent Police Review Director.

The complaint is in two parts, and was submitted by Councillor Doug Ford.

His criticism involves a fishing trip that Bill Blair allegedly went on last year, with Police Services Board member Andy Pringle.

The second part came out of an October 31st press conference, where the Chief said he was disappointed in Mayor Rob Ford. That press conference was the one where Blair had indicated police had possession of the alleged 'crack video'.

The Police Board has concluded the actions "may constitute misconduct" and that's why the Director has been asked to investigate them.

The G20 mess should be laid at the feet of the Harper One-Man-Band.

The chief was handed a lemon on very little notice and, unfortunately, failed to turn it into lemonade. Compared to the stupidity and the lying from the Thug brothers, this doesn't even pass the smell test.

Nice to see that desperation has already set in on the Thug brothers' attempt at re-election even though there are still seven months to go.

If Blair has nothing to hide, he will provide receipts for the trip, and finally show the alleged video tape that he is so very "disappointed" by, right? I mean, why wouldn't we take the word of a chief of police who allowed Tamils on the Gardiner and lied repeatedly about the G20?
