WATCH: OPP Commissioner testifies at Queen's Park

OPP continues its investigation into deleted emails involving the gas plant scandal

Investigators searched a data storage facility last week, and now the OPP commissioner testified at the committee looking into the gas plant cancellations that hard-drives were likely taken.

Chris Lewis says he is making the assumption given IT staff have been involved in that part of the investigation.

Officers are looking into the deletion of emails and what opposition parties allege is a cover-up in who called the shots during the cancellation process.

Lewis couldn't say what charges could have been included in the warrant that led to this search. He underlines he can't say much so he won't compromise the investigation.

He underlines he doesn't know many details.

However, Lewis reveals 20 officials were interviewed in this investigation - but he couldn't name who.

He says he doesn't know when the investigation could wrap up since the OPP are also dealing with other cases, pointing to a potential two-year backlog outside of this matter.

Lewis wouldn't speculate if charges will be laid.

Hopefully this will lead to criminal charges involving the Liberals and Ontario will sue the Liberal Party to refund the money "stolen", as well as sue the Liberal Party for the lawsuit and police investigation.

Had McGuinty been thrown out of office after Caledonia, as he should, the province might have saved billions of our tax dollars and almost 10 years of complete incompetence that will affect generations to come.

    This is a tongue-in-cheek comment:

I no have a big problem with Norm Kelly. Because he's now been cavorting with known criminals in Queen's Park. I also have an issue with city council, that has elected an unofficial official and send him to Queen's Park to deal with another unofficial official

Isn't this making anyone's head spin?!?!? Maybe Ms. Doolittle's second book should be "Crazy Province: Ontario- Yours to Bankrupt"- and then do a bunch of late nite circuit tours. Oh, I forgot, its not as interesting as the meaningless side issues done by Rob Ford.

The late night talk shows are making fun of Ford and people claim we're the laughing stock of the world. If these talk show hosts listed the accomplishments of the Liberal party - Caledonia, gas plants, eHealth, oRnge, green energy, no new taxes, .......
and that the fools of Ontario keep voting this party in the entire province would be the laughing stock of the world, and Ford's antics would pale by comparison
