Toronto police are looking for a middle-aged man in connection with a disturbing incident at a bookstore in mid-town.

Police say a man was spotted last week committing an indecent act in the children's section of a bookstore at Yonge and Eglinton.

Police were called after the alleged incident just before 6 p.m. on Friday but the man left the scene before they got there.

The suspect is described as between 40-50 years of age, about 6 feet tall and weighing 150 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a dark coloured long sleeve shirt with black pants and carrying a black backpack.

"Potential" sex offender? I think he kinda crossed that line to "actual" sex offender in the kid's section of that book store.

@Angry Bill We wouldn't want to hurt his precious feelings by outright accusing him of anything, even if there is eyewitness evidence. After all, I'm sure if we just took the time to UNDERSTAND him, he'd magically not be a danger to society anymore.

Or we could throw him off the CN Tower. That's a better plan, I think.
