Pedestrian struck in Burlington

75 year old man suffered critical head injuries

A 75 year old man has been taken to Hamilton's General Hospital after he was struck by a vehicle crossing the street in Burlington.

Halton Police say it happened just before 8 pm Thursday on Mainway Drive near Guelph Line.

The man suffered critical head injuries and police say he was semi-conscious on his way to hospital.

The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene, but no charges have been laid.
