47-year-old man arrested in child exploitation case

Police have arrested a 47-year-old man in relation to a child exploitation investigation.

After officers executed a search warrant in the area of Sherbourne and Bloor Sts on Thursday, they made an arrest.

Matthew Hawkins has been charged with making an arrangement to commit sexual assault.

Police allege he was online, actively seeking to sexually abuse a child.

Police say he uses the online profile names "darkhawk181", "jennyloves_38" and the email address "darkhawk181@yahoo.ca."

Police believe there may be more victims who have had contact with him.
