Just as March Break kicks off, there will be a large closure of the subway downtown this weekend.

There won't be any service between Bloor-Yonge and St. Andrew stations due to signal upgrades on both Saturday and Sunday.

Normal service will resume on Monday morning at 6 a.m.

About 50 shuttle buses will be running between stations.

More signal upgrades are scheduled to take place on the weekend of March 22-23, and April 5-6.
