Police say two officers suffered minor injuries after a collision on Monday afternoon, involving two police cruisers.

It happened near Danforth and Jones on Monday afternoon, when police were reportedly 'trailing' a suspect, and not involved in an active chase.

That's when the suspect allegedly took off and the two cruisers collided together.

Two civilians were also injured in the crash.

The province's Special Investigations Unit is not going to be called in, because the crash didn't result in severe injuries or death.
