Police search for suspects in Mississauga home invasion

One person was taken to hospital following the break-in on Lakeshore Road.

One person was taken to hospital with minor injuries, after a home invasion in Mississauga early Tuesday.

Peel police say it's unclear if anything was stolen from the home on Lakeshore Road, near Cawthra.

They are searching for three suspects, at least one of which was armed with a gun.

They fled the scene and there's not much of a description, but police say they are searching for 3 white men in their late 20's. They were all about 5'7" in height and were wearing dark clothing.

Police have brought in the K-9 unit to assist in their search, and it's not clear if this was a random or targeted invasion.
