UPDATE: $233,000 hydro bill? It happened

More Hydro One billing issues coming to light

The Tories are revealing how deep the billing problem at Hydro One is, pointing to a small London-area grain-elevator business which was slapped with a $233,000 electricity estimate.

Their highest bill in the past had been around $4,500.

Progressive Conservative MPP Jeff Yurek is calling for the CEO of Hydro One to resign immediately, as Ontario's Ombudsman looks into the electricity agency's billing practices. Andre Marin's office has received thousands of complaints.

Hydro One spokesperson Tiziana Baccega Rosa says the issue was resolved last year.

As for when all those who have had billing problem can see a fix, she can't say.

@Greg Nope Greg. The criminal Fiberals have destroyed everything they touch since my 50 years on earth.

I am damn proud to tell anyone that I have never voted Fiberal in my life, nor ever will. :)
