Durham Police find shoe believed to be Jeffrey Boucher's

High school teacher has been missing since January 13th, when he left his Whitby home for a jog...


Durham Regional Police say they have found a shoe, they believe belongs to Jeffrey Boucher.

The Bowmanville high school teacher was reported missing on January 13th, when he left home, reportedly for a jog.

He was never seen again.

The shoe was found on Tuesday near the Lake Ontario shoreline, by a woman who was out for a walk.

Police have yet to confirm the shoe is Boucher's, but officers are on scene looking for more clues.

They plan to launch a major search next week.

Durham Police are also asking homeowners to check around on your property to ensure the missing man is not found within your neighbourhood.
