UPDATE: Police identify Scarborough stabbing victim
The incident happened near the Markham Bar & Grill on Lawrence Ave

Police have identified the victim of a fatal stabbing in Scarborough on Saturday. 

Officers were called to the Markham Bar & Grill on Lawrence Ave, west of Markham Rd, at about 12:20 a.m. 

When they arrived, they found the body of 28-year-old Masud Khalif. 

Police say he was stabbed in the parking lot after a fight or argument broke out in the bar. 

Yesterday, police had said a man and a woman were seen fleeing the scene but it is not clear if or how they are connected.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
