Ontario's Tories are demanding the minority Liberal government tabled the budget by March 31st or be defeated.
Progressive Conservative leader Tim Hudak says he's introducing an Opposition Day Motion on Monday that asks the province to table its budget by the end of the fiscal year. If not, the Liberals would face a confidence motion.
However, even if the NDP supports the PCs pleas, it is still up to the government to bring forward a confidence motion.
In Question Period, Premier Kathleen Wynne maintains it take a while to put together a budget, underlining they've done a list of consultations.
Wynne points to previous Tory budgets which were introduced in May and June. She says she's not going to fall for Tory gimmicks.
The budget is expected to be tabled sometime this spring.
