The Liberal government is taking a swing at the Tories claiming PC Finance Critic Vic Fedeli of breaking the rules after what they say is the release what they call commercially sensitive documents.
The documents in question talk about the $11.7 billion deficit and how the province isn't on track to pay it down by 2017-18.
Government House leader John Milloy claims the Tories made files public that should have had portions blacked out.
But Tory finance critic Vic Fedeli says this is nothing but a personal attack; an attempt to drag his name through the mud.
He says this has nothing to do with commercially sensitive documents but rather politically sensitive ones.
NDP leader Andrea Horwath questions whether the Liberal government truly wants to be transparent.
The speaker will review this alleged prima facie breach of privilege and make his decision at a later date. This would be the first step of the process to find an MPP in contempt of the legislature.
