Two more Pan Am execs turfed
2015 CEO claims it was an effort to "streamline" operations

Two more Pan Am executives have been shown the door.

Senior vice present of human resources Elaine Roper and senior vice-president community and cultural affairs Louise Lutgens were let go on Thursday.

Pan Am 2015 CEO Saad Rafi claims this about streamlining the operation and has nothing to do with a clash of personalities or questionable expenses.

Rafi took over the CEO position when Ian Troop was axed last year. The move happened after a list of questionable expenses from Troop's office appeared. And while these figures are said to have had nothing to do with it, there is a widely held belief that Troop didn't get along with Board Chair former Premier David Peterson.

Rafi says it was his decision alone to let go of these executives, underlining he board had nothing to do with it.

It's unclear how much severance these two will be given. They each made over $230,000.

Troop was given half a million dollars in severance.
