Serious crash on the 400 in Vaughan

Police say a 36-year-old driver is in critical condition

The system that brought heavy snow to areas north of Toronto led to dangerous road conditions this morning and at least one serious accident.

Police say a 36-year-old man is in critical condition after a single-vehicle crash on SB Hwy 400 south of King Rd in Vaughan.

At about 6:30 a.m., a Jetta lost control, left the roadway and hit a light standard, bringing it down.

The driver was the only person in the car.
