Around a thousand Liberal party faithful are meeting in Toronto this weekend, with a specific focus on gearing up for a possible election campaign.
The party is holding several closed-door workshops on fundraising, community engagement and campaign strategy.
However despite the agenda of the annual meeting, Labour Minister Yasir Naqvi stresses they will be focusing on economic-centred discussions.
Although Naqvi admits a minority government always has to be ready for an election.
Premier Kathleen Wynne kicked off the annual event with a fundraising dinner, underlining she has the "safe hands" to continue to lead the province, calling opposition parties "reckless".
Naqvi denies that implies she's bland. He calls her exciting with a fresh leadership style that connects with voters.
