It happened fast and it happened quietly, that's why Toronto police really need to speak to anyone with information about the city's latest murder.

Gunfire rang out at a home on Symington Avenue around 6 p.m. Tuesday. That's near Lansdowne and Davenport.

Police say at least one suspect fled after the man in his 40's was shot and killed. Two relatives of the man were inside the house at the time, but weren't hurt.

No arrests have been made.

The cost of gasoline around the GTA is under a dollar a litre, but it's going to be short-lived.

Dan McTeague with GasBuddy.com says the price will go back up four cents a litre overnight to $103.9

"It really has nothing to do with the fundamentals. Crude is still over supplied, gasoline is nearing the end of its run as far as summer demand is concerned. It's only a matter of time before prices head back down."

He says the increase could be matched with another one cent increase by Sunday.

Today is the first time in roughly six months gas prices are below a dollar a litre.
